Apparently Weightless (Using Spring)
PIRA: Unknown
A mass is attached to a force probe sensor that is hanging by a spring. The user raises the probe-mass system by the sensor to a certain height. Once the user lets go of the sensor, the perceived weight of the mass by the sensor is significantly less than the mass’s actual weight. As the mass falls and the spring starts pulling it back up, the mass’s perceived weight is significantly more than its actual weight. (Logger Pro is required for this demo. A laptop with Logger Pro installed can be provided if needed.)
