Single slit diffraction pattern.

A laser beam is directed onto a single slit. The diffraction pattern may be viewed on a screen many feet away. The angle of diffraction may be determined for several orders of the pattern. Single slits of other widths may be shown to illustrate how the width of the diffraction varies inversely with the slit width.
