Helmholtz resonator.
PIRA: Unknown
Helmholtz resonator.
A set of spherical resonators is made of spun brass. Each resonator has one hole for excitation by the sound source, while the second hole fits close to the ear. If the sound has a frequency component close to the characteristic frequency of the resonator, the resonator will go into resonance.
