Apparently Weightless (Using String)
PIRA: Unknown
A mass is attached to a force probe sensor that is hanging by a string. The user raises the probe-mass system by the string to a certain height. Once the user lets go of the string, the perceived weight of the mass by the sensor is significantly less than the mass’s actual weight. Once the mass reaches the bottom of the drop and bounces back, its perceived weight is significantly more than its actual weight. (Logger Pro is required for this demo. A laptop with Logger Pro installed can be provided if needed.)
