Fluorescence.
Using the Crooke's tube, a beam of electrons striking phosphorus on an aluminum screen will cause the phosphorus to fluoresce. Similarly, the cold cathode tube with a bouquet of flowers will cause the flowers to fluoresce when the flowers are bombarded with electrons.
