Moving coil galvanometer.

A moving coil consisting of a few trurns of aluminum wire is suspended between the poles of a horseshoe magnet. Connecting the moving coil to a 1.5 battery, an electromagnetic field will generate surrounding the coil. When the permanent and electromagnetic fields interact, the coil starts to rotate.
