Bicycle wheel

Do not place the wheel directly on a table top where it can roll off and be damaged. Use the stand provided with the wheel to hold it while it is not being used.
A bicycle wheel can turn freely on ball bearings and has a handle at each end of its axle. An instructor standing on a rotating platform with the bicycle wheel turning may show the conservation of angular momentum, centripetal force, and precession. A spin of the wheel with the hand gives a sufficient velocity. If the instructor turns the wheel over , he will receives an angular velocity in the opposite direction.
