Thermobile

A memory metal ( a nickel/titanium alloy) is bent around a small brass wheel and a plastic wheel. When the small brass wheel is partially immersed in hot water, the metal \'remembers\' its previous straight state and tries to straighten out. In this manner, it contracts and acts as a drive belt, turning the wheels.
